WORX TRIVAC – An Innovative 3 in 1 Blower

28 September 2011 One Comment

It is no secret that we are big fans of backpack blowers. The power, versatility, and freedom of movement is unmatched for large jobs. But we recently had an opportunity to acquire the WORX WG500, and have created our own WORX TRIVAC review.

This is not a gas powered blower.  It is an electric blower, and that is its only negative in our opinion.  For most average home owners, a backpack leaf blower is overkill.  There are a number of notable features for the TRIVAC that will make it more attractive for most home owners.

Watch the following video on the WORX TRIVAC to see what it is capable of.  I have to apologize up front, because the video and the audio are out of sync.  The important thing to take away from this video is seeing what it is capable of, and actually seeing it in use.

  1. It generates 350 CFM of air flow.
That means 350 cubic feet of air per minute.  It does this at a speed of 210 MPH.  I look at the CFM stats more closely than MPH, because it is the volume of air that is really the important factor when it comes to moving debris.  This airflow is comparable to many of the gasoline powered blowers on the market today.
  2. It not only serves as a blower, but it has the capability to serve as a yard vacuum as well.
So once you have blown all of your leaves into a pile, you can vacuum them up into the attached vacuum bag.  You can also use this for other cleanup applications, like saw dust in the work shop, trash around the lawn, etc.  Converting the TRIVAC from a blower to a vacuum is as simple as flipping the switch.  No reconfiguration or tools are required.
  3. It can mulch your leaves.
The WG500 has a high speed impeller that will shred the leaves as it vacuums them up.  It will compress leaves down to 1/10th of their original size.  Just to put that into perspective, what would normally fill 10 lawn trash bags can now fit into 1 bag.  Using less trash bags will help to save money over the life of the TRIVAC.
  4. It is cheap!
This all in one tool is very affordable.  You don't have to purchase a separate blower, vacuum, and mulcher.  You get them all in one, and can enjoy the benefits of the space savings.  We have found the best price available for the WORX TRIVAC, and you can get it for UNDER $85.00 with free shipping.  Read the review and find the lowest price here:  WORX TRIVAC blower review.

I love mine, but I do wish they would come up with a model that used a lithium battery. (as long as they could maintain the same amount of power that the corded model has) Thanks
